The Toyota 4 Runner was the first SUV that was built on comfort. It was designed on the chassis of a truck, yet was comfortable. Next in line comes the Toyota Highlander. It is a midsize crossover and was introduced in 2001 in North America. The vehicle is known for its safety and looks. The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck introduced was by 2001. It is based on the T100 pickup platform and also shares many similarities with it. It is considered as one of the first foreign based import truck that offered an American look and feel.

The Toyota Tacoma is a much smaller compact pickup truck named after the town Tacoma, Washington. It was introduced in 1995. The Tacoma is known of its versatility and safety. It has received the 2009 IIHS's Top Safety Pick award. The Tacoma has also been used by American Special Forces, which indicates a mark of reliability.
